Turmeric, an ally for your joints

Certain plants have the power to improve our physical and mental capabilities and help us fight certain illnesses. Whether used preventively or curatively, consuming them strengthens the body thanks to the numerous active compounds they contain. Of course, each plant has its own virtues and needs… Turmeric, for example, has some rather interesting benefits that prove effective on a physical level.

Turmeric, a tasty and beneficial spice

Turmeric originates from Asia, where it has been used to treat numerous ailments for decades. Similar to ginger, but orange in color, it is consumed as a powdered spice in traditional dishes or as a dietary supplement. A very powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, turmeric ( Curcuma piperine) strengthens joints and helps fight osteoarthritis (and its nighttime flare-ups), tendonitis, joint pain, and digestive problems. Its anti-inflammatory properties also help combat skin problems such as acne. Turmeric has a positive effect against certain cancers, particularly pancreatic and breast cancer. When used in conjunction with medical treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, it helps destroy cancer cells. However, medical advice is essential regarding dosage. For example, it is not recommended to take capsules on the day of chemotherapy for optimal effectiveness. Consult your doctor before taking any turmeric in this case.

Capsule consumption: simpler for everyday use

Medicine has long recognized the virtues of this plant and readily incorporates it into certain medicinal formulations. Pharmaceutical companies offer turmeric (Curcuma piperine) in capsule form for easier daily consumption. The plants are carefully selected for their therapeutic properties and are made available for sale so that everyone can benefit from nature’s bounty. By taking turmeric in capsule form, you make it easier to take it day after day. It’s not always easy to incorporate turmeric powder into a regular diet, especially for those with strong preferences. Dietary supplements are ideal for supplementing recipes and natural remedies.
