About Us

Hi, I am Chimaobi Kanu – and this blog exists because I nearly became a statistic.

PostandShare is not written by a committee of anonymous writers, and it is not rehashed content from other health sites. It is written by me, and everything here passes through one filter first: does this reflect what I have actually lived?

Here is my story. At 19, I was diagnosed prediabetic and prehypertensive. That alone was scary, but it was not the beginning. My family carries diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and kidney failure. I lost my mother to renal failure and my father to cancer. Most of my siblings and cousins are diabetic. I weighed 120 kg, I was sick with one illness or another almost every month, and I could see exactly where my life was heading – because I had already watched my parents go there.

I decided I did not just want to avoid dying young like my parents. I wanted to live well, and I wanted to understand what actually went into my body, because I believe most of us have been misled for a long time by internet marketers and bad advice repeated until it sounds true.

So I rebuilt how I eat and how I live, and I have kept it up for over two years now. I went from 120 kg to 79 kg. I walk 7,000 steps every single evening. I eat real food I prepare myself – eggs, vegetables, meat, butter, fiber – I do a daily fast, and I have not let a craving decide anything for me in a very long time. The prediabetes and blood pressure warnings that defined my twenties are behind me.

“Be disciplined, strong, motivated, relentless – do not let what goes into your mouth control who you are or how long you would live!”

What you will find here

Everything on PostandShare comes back to knowledge you can actually use: why your body does what it does after meals, why cravings hit at night, how stress hijacks your appetite, and what to do about all of it. Where the science matters, I cite it. Where my own experience matters, I say “in my case” and tell you exactly what happened – because the honest version of one person’s two-year experiment is worth more than a hundred articles that pretend nobody ever actually tried any of this.

I write for the person I used to be: the scared 19-year-old staring down a diabetes diagnosis, the busy worker who eats whatever is around, the person whose family history makes every meal feel like a decision with consequences. If that is you, you are in the right place.

Knowledge first. Everything else – the AdSense revenue, the growth, the reach – is a byproduct of doing this honestly. That is the deal I have made with you, and it is the deal this blog runs on.

Welcome to PostandShare. Let us take our health seriously, together.
